Kindergarten is an important stage in the life of every child. And not only the child - his parents, of course, too. Mothers think with fear that they will soon have to give the baby into the hands of unfamiliar caregivers. And the baby cries, not wanting to part with his mother.

So the little excavator Klusha goes to kindergarten for the first time and timidly enters his group. What is waiting for him there? Guys-cars rush around headlong, and the bulldozer-nanny Kerosin Benzinovich looks so formidable! Will they offend him?

Fortunately, the restless engine Shpunchik comes to the rescue of Klusha, who can climb the ceiling and dreams of driving high-speed trains when he grows up. He invites Klyusha to join the common game, and soon he makes friends not only with Shpunchik, but also with Tobik the little car and other kids. And the nanny Kerosin Benzinovich turns out to be not at all formidable, but fair and attentive.

True, Klyusha does not like healthy gasoline soup with carrots. Grimacing, he pushes the plate away. Nian tries to persuade him, but in vain. However, it turns out that without a carrot, Klyusha does not have enough strength to play outdoors. All the cars climbed a high hill, but Klyusha could not. How so? Klyusha doesn't want to be left behind, and at dinner he eats stewed cabbage with diesel fuel without any persuasion.

But everything is not cloudless. In any kindergarten there is a bully. And in the kindergarten for cars, the hooligan, of course, is also on wheels - the Porshik dump truck. He pushes and is rude to everyone. The kids stand side by side to fight him off. It is good that Kerosin Benzinovich intervened here, otherwise a fight would not have been avoided.

Porshik was left alone. Sitting alone is boring. Especially when everyone around is playing and having fun. In addition, kids can’t build a tower out of blocks in any way. And Porshik is big and strong - so why not help? So, little by little, they all reconciled. And even made friends!

I started writing fairy tales about the Klyusha excavator for my daughter Solka when she just went to kindergarten.

I really wanted to create for her the image of a kindergarten as a pleasant place where it is good and fun. So that she would gladly visit him, learn to be friends, obey her teachers, and be able to part with me for a while.

Then she was almost three years old, and she adored everything on wheels. At that time, I had to learn all the popular car brands. Solka and I spent a lot of time near the cars, looking at them up and down. My daughter even called herself a passenger car, and me - a truck.

Therefore, I chose the characters with whom she would be most interested.

I used to whisper these tales before going to bed.

I had to come up with new stories. I wrote down some of them, and so it turned out to be a whole book.
