Walk into history

Publishing House "Walk into History" is already 10 years old! During this time, we have published more than 200 educational books, and about 70 of them we came up with ourselves, and the best Russian authors and illustrators helped us make them. These are books on history, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics. But once it all started with a simple children's game...

Once upon a time there lived a boy and a girl. They had a mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, another grandmother and a cat. Like all small children, they loved to play. They especially loved when dad played with them. But dad came home late from work, and on weekends he often lay on the couch and rested.

Then the children came up with a new exciting game and since then they have constantly played it with dad. They moved dad from the couch to the floor and told him to act like a mammoth. They themselves turned into primitive people and staged a driven hunt: they built a trap for a mammoth, drove him to the trap - and the unfortunate beast was ambushed. Then the children lit a fire and began to fry the prey on the fire. The mammoth lay quietly and was very pleased. And the children sat by the fire and told each other stories about a successful hunt.

When the mammoth was eaten, dad was allowed to lie back on the sofa. Evening had already come and it was time for the primitive children to go to the cave to sleep. The boy and girl went off to dream, and mom and dad began to figure out how to make sure that all children could play ancient people and read books about them, and parents would be happy. And they came up with "Walk into History"!

The hallmark of our publishing house has become historical series dedicated to ancient civilizations and different historical eras: the Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, China, Ancient Greece and Rome, the Middle Ages in Russia and Europe, Russia during the reign of Peter I, during the era of the Patriotic War of 1812 and in 1917.
