Mama Mu and Krux

The inquisitive cow Mamu Mu and her friend the crow Krax were invented by the Swedish writer Yuja Wislander together with her husband Thomas in the 70s. They appeared as the heroes of radio plays and songs that Yuya and Tomas composed for children and recorded on a disc. The idea of creating illustrated books was born quite by accident during an acquaintance with the artist Sven Nordqvist. Yuya and Thomas saw his sketches of Mama Mu and realized that they accurately convey the image they laid down. So in 1991, the first story came out. The publishing house White Crow published eight books about Mama Mu and Krux.
