On Saturday mornings, Green Meadow Farm is bustling with activity. Harvest is in full swing in the orchard. Boxes with fresh cherries, raspberries and currants are immediately placed in the back of the owner's truck. At a nearby cheese factory, a bright red van is being loaded with cheese heads. The owners of the poultry farm carry chicken eggs and packages of homemade noodles to their yellow car. A green truck is parked near the greenhouses - there are already crates of fresh vegetables in it. When all the preparations are over, the cars line up one after the other, and set off in a multi-colored string. Where are they going? Farmers rush to the main town square in order to be in time for the opening of the weekend market. There, regular customers are waiting for them, who come every week for fresh and organic vegetables, fruits and other locally produced products. On the way, farmers stop by a large supermarket to sell some of their produce there as well. In the city square, cargo vans turn into counters on wheels - this is very convenient. While parents choose food and chat with vendors, children play by the fountain and fumble with sheep in the living corner that Farmer Bruno built for them.
