With the help of the Magic School Bus, children get the opportunity to see with their own eyes what they talk about in textbooks. For example, take a trip inside the human body! Welcome aboard the magical school bus!
Children, along with an unusual teacher, Miss Frizzle, take a lesson about the human body, and attend a tour of the science museum. But on the way back, the magic bus shrinks and almost all the children, along with the bus, end up inside one of the students! Two parallel stories begin here - inside the boy who swallowed the bus, and inside the magic bus, which the boy swallowed.
Students travel inside their friend's body, see what they learned in class and must figure out how to use it to get out!
From the stomach they pass into the small intestine, then the bus enters the blood vessel, where readers can become familiar with plasma, red and white blood cells, and the cardiac artery. From there, the entire class, dressed in operating gowns and masks, flows with blood cells, with fresh oxygen, to the brain. They descend into the bones of the spine, examine the nerves to see how the muscles work, and then finally exit the nasal cavity (during a sneeze).
A visual story with jokes, digressions and bright pictures, supplemented with notes and diagrams, will make it much easier for a child to remember, and most importantly, understand how the human body works.
This book is suitable for children ages seven and up.
