Walrus, teacher and poet.

Arthur Givargizov has long been known as the author of children's poems (the collections “Once I flew from a mountain ash”, “Generals”, “When there is no time”, “Cosmonauts” and others), stories and plays. Arthur is a professional musician by education, but when reading his poems, you immediately understand that he is a real poet, a hooligan and a magician who understands children like no one else, and is always at the same time with his readers. His new book, Walrus, Teacher and Poet, is two stories about sixty-year-old Mikhail Mikhailovich from the village of Pesochny on the shores of the Arctic Ocean. But don't be scared! This is not about a boring pensioner. Misha is an elderly man, but very, childlike, happy, and everyone calls him just by his first name, “because small, frivolous and wise are one and the same.” In Pesochny there is always a place for an ordinary miracle, and the happiness of its inhabitants lies in simple and understandable things. This is a small cozy world, cut off from civilization.
