The mice Benjamin and Anastasia lived together and cheerfully in the cellar of a large house. One late autumn, little rat Franz brought them a balloon as a gift. So he hoped to make friends with his neighbors, but then something completely unexpected happened. The ball tore Benjamin off the ground and carried him away in an unknown direction. Anastasia decided to follow him. Her calculation turned out to be correct, and she saw Benjamin, who was hanging motionless on a rock. Her new friends hedgehog and squirrel helped her film Benjamin, but the mice still had a long way to go home. And there were other trials ahead of them.
Swiss writer Karin Norup and Swedish artist Annika Svensson have created an amazingly vibrant and colorful world in which mice Benjamin and Anastasia live.
