Book Secret "Unicorn" | Hergé

$29.00
Walking through the flea market, Tintin sees a model of an old sailboat and decides to give it to his friend Captain Haddock. The captain is delighted, because it is an exact copy of the "Unicorn" - the ship commanded by his glorious ancestor Francois de Addock. At the end of the 17th century, pirates led by the Red Rakkam captured the ship, but Captain de Addock blew it up so that the proud frigate of His Majesty King Louis XIV would not go to filibusters. The ship sank in a quiet bay near a nameless island, and with it all the treasures that the pirates managed to drag from their wrecked sloop. The Chevalier de Addock himself escaped and he bequeathed to his sons three miniature copies of the Unicorn with a secret. This secret is trying to unravel Tintin. But as it turns out, he's not alone...

The Adventures of Tintin is a world-famous comic book series by the Belgian artist Georges Remy, who worked under the pseudonym Hergé. Risking his life, the brave reporter Tintin investigates mysterious incidents, but emerges victorious from all troubles. And no matter what happens, his faithful friend, the snow-white fox terrier Milu, is always nearby. The comic “The Secret of the Unicorn” was published in 1943. Starting to work on it, Hergé first thought about an adventure in two volumes, because, with all the obvious connection, the albums "Pharaoh's Cigars" and "Blue Lotus" look like completely independent stories that can be read even in reverse order without losing the thread of the story . Here we have a classic dilogy, in the first part of which the heroes unravel the secret of the sunken ship, and in the second (“Treasure of the Red Rakkam”) they go in search of treasures supposedly on board.
