Autumn has come, and it's time for the little Wolf cub to go to first grade. Mom Wolf and Dad Wolf dreamed that their son would go to the Best School for Wolves - the most prestigious educational institution in the entire forest. Indeed, while in ordinary schools the animals were taught such useless subjects as reading, writing and counting, in the Best School for Wolves pupils were taught really important things: howl loudly, fight, call names and misbehave. And newcomers were accepted strictly according to the results of entrance examinations.
And on the appointed day, mom and dad brought their child to the Best School for Wolves to take the exam. High school students rushed headlong along the corridors of an elite educational institution; during the lessons, the students clamored and bludgeoned each other; in the dining room everyone was munching and throwing food as one. Mom and dad were completely delighted with what they saw, which could not be said about the Wolf cub himself. He did not want to study here at all. In the depths of his soul, he dreamed of going to the most ordinary school. He really wanted to learn to read in order to find out what was written in big beautiful books. He wanted to learn how to write so he could send letters to his grandparents that he missed so much. Finally, he dreamed of learning to count so that he could count all the stars in the sky.
Needless to say, he flunked the entrance exams. The inconsolable parents had no choice but to send their son to the most ordinary forest school, where he began to go along with bear cubs, piglets, hares and other animals. And what Really his life went downhill On the contrary, soon the cub became the best student in the class and, perhaps, the happiest child in the whole forest. In the evenings, he climbed into bed with his mom and dad and read aloud to them some interesting book from the school library, and this became their favorite family activity. Parents perked up and came to the right conclusion: “Well, after all, this ordinary school is not so bad!”
This funny and ironic story will allow not only future first-graders, but also their parents to get ready for school and tune in the right way.
