The series has already published books dedicated to Italian, French and Jewish children's folklore - with poems, nursery rhymes, songs and sayings. It's time to turn to Russian folk art. The book “Every bird has its own manners” is published in the series, for which the poet and translator Mikhail Yasnov carefully collected 25 Russian proverbs and sayings. For each of them, he composed a poem that emphasizes its essence or helps to look at folk wisdom from a fresh perspective.
About the author:
Mikhail Davidovich Yasnov is a famous Russian poet, translator and children's writer, author of lyrics in the cartoon Scarecrow-Meow. Member of the Writers' Union, chairman of the literary translation section of the Writers' Union, head of the literary translation studio at the French Institute of St. Petersburg. Author of dozens of books, translator of French poetry.

Irina Dedkova is a graphic artist, illustrator, teacher.
Graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov - workshop "The Art of Book Graphics" under the guidance of Professor Yu.V. Ivanova.
Member of the TSHR (section of graphics), member of the Moscow Union of Artists (section of book graphics). Participant and prize-winner of regional and all-Russian youth exhibitions of the Moscow Union of Artists and Moscow Union of Artists, diploma and laureate of book illustration competitions, diploma and prize-winner of ex-libris competitions.
She was awarded a medal and a diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts for a series of illustrations for the works of V. Mayakovsky.
